Han arbejdede blandt andet for Carozzeria Ghia, Fiat og OSI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Han designede den nu legendariske Karmann Ghia type 34 og den mindst lige s\u00e5 ikoniske Ford OSI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I 1940&#8217;erne byggede han tr\u00e6modeller af biler, han havde set i bilmagasiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Han gjorde tjeneste i det italienske milit\u00e6r, hvorefter han tog en doktorgrad som mekanisk ingeni\u00f8r ved Polyteknisk Universetet i Torino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I 1956 blev han ansat hos Carozzeria Ghia og i 1965 startede han samarbejdet med
